Welcome to the Housing Authority of the City of College Park (HACCP) website. As you view the following pages you’ll learn about our agency and the people we serve. First and foremost, we are here to assist our residents. We strive to not only provide quality, housing, but perhaps more importantly help our residents by providing affordable housing. Moving forward, Michelle along with Staff and the Board of Commissioners pledge to oversee growth, continued education, and training which ultimately improves the quality of life for the residents of the Housing Authority.

Michelle was hired as the Executive Director of the Housing Authority December 2019. Michelle served as the Rental Assistance Division Manager for the Housing Authority of Prince George’s County where she was responsible for the administration of the program with 6000 vouchers and Public Housing Intake. Michelle has extensive experience with the Housing Choice Voucher program, Project Based programs, Moderate Rehabilitation and Property Management. Michelle started her Housing Authority career with the Housing Authority of Baltimore City as the Program Administrator for the Housing Choice Voucher Program where she oversaw more than 12,000 vouchers and a variety of HUD programs. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Tennessee State University and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University, Nashville Campus. She holds an Executive Management certification, Accredited Residential Manager Certification and Certified Professional of Occupancy Designation.

Last and most importantly, we are a community of people actively seeking to improve the lives of everyone we meet. Our staff are professional, good listeners, detailed communicators, respectful and responsive to residents. We provide quality services as a strong work force working to reshape the HACCP in a positive way to develop a better future for the residents of the Housing Authority and the citizens of the City of College Park.
